Is anyone here in the U.S. interested in starting our own fantasy footy league? We would need any where from 8-12 people to get one going.

The basics would be to have about 15 players on each team. Select 8 starters for each weekly head to head matchup. Scoring would be based on goals and behinds. The entry fee would be small and the top two or three teams collecting the winnings.

FYI to all. AFANA will be offering a fantasy footy league to it's members this year similar to last year. (Membership starts at $5 a year... ) We should have an announcement out sometime next month. To see the message about last year's announcement and the link to the web page go here:

I have been creating a Fantays Footy website over the last few months. It is still under construction but will definatly be fully operational for next season (2004).

Very nicely done. It looks to be easy to use and smoothly running.

From the basics I could glean from the site, yours runs slightly differently than the comp we already participate in via another web site.

As you might imagine, I'm not too focused on 2004 at this point. I'm sure we can work out some arrangement for our fans next season but it's way too early for me to think about that.
