A bad way to see a champion go. We dont like seeing players who had such a huge impact on the game having to retire due to injury! Good Luck Ratts!

He He, What a way to go out, the Eagles absolutely thumped them last week. Hasleby has a little to do with his retirement also, I don't know if Ratten will look back at Subiaco oval with much affection from now on.

Hi again -
yeah, it is a shame Ratten couldn't go on, especially now as the Blues need everyone they can get.
I can understand his reasoning though, wanting to get his shoulder right and be able to enjoy the rest of his life and be able to as he said "...toss a few Warnesy spinners to his kids"
Well, at least it gives the club a chance to promote a rookie.
