Hi Peter... thanks for visiting AFANA.com!
The Grand Final is on FOX Sports
World live everywhere in the US and only on FSWLD (not any other FOX Sports channel), and it is the same everywhere in the USA. However, FSWLD is only available on digital cable and via the direct satellite services (DISH Network and DirecTV). For a complete overview request this back issue of our Media/TV newsletter: tvupdatev8n06@afana.com (Just send a blank e-mail to that address and it will arrive by return e-mail.)
Technically, FSWLD is neither a premium (e.g. HBO; since you don't pay for it individually) nor a basic cable channel as the industry defines it but rather a "specialty" channel included as part of a "extended tier" channel package, in this case "digital cable". That said, you will have to pay extra for digital cable ($10 to $15 per month) or subscribe to one of the sports packages on the satellite services. This is all explained in our TV newsletter. If after reading that you still can't figure it out, feel free to contact us again or leave a message on our toll free number (1-888-423-2621)and someone will return the call.
Also, I should note that we anticipate there will be at least one Grand Final party in New York City where you can see the match live. We are awaiting receipt of announcements on those parties. (OK, New Yorkers... can you send them in please?
)
