how much to read into this? Web Link

I don't understand how much to read into the following news story on Fox Sports World's website regarding Fox Soccer channel. Why do they keep insisting that other "codes" of football will remain on the station?

In particular this comment, "Other global 'football' codes — from indoor soccer (futsal) to rugby union — will remain part of the Fox Soccer Channel mix."
