Wow, have a look at the new AFL website, it looks much better than the old one in my opinion.

I know I asked this sometime last year, but I was wondering again about the whole Bigpond subscription thing on the AFL website. Last fall I was advised to wait until the season began before subscribing. I'm interested in seeing some of the Wizard Cup matches that are posted now and was wondering if I subscribe now will it go through the whole season from this point?

I didn't try this past weekend, but usually the Wizard Cup is free access. AFANA hasn't received word on the new 2005 subscription package but that should be out in the next week or two. Yes, once you subscribe it is good until the beginning of the following season. We'll put something in the next Media newsletter about the subscription details for 2005.

I am disappointed in the revamped web site, to me it is almost useless. It is now similar to most NCAA school websites, all graphics, no copy. I could care less about all the pretty pictures, I WANT TO READ COPY!!!
Plus, it says now to down load macromedia flash player and it is not available to my system. I guess I will be at the Herald-Sun footy site, real footy (the Age) and the Geelong site for my AFL info.

I ABSOLUTELY HATE the new AFL site layout. The previous format was much more user friendly for text articles and getting to the radio broadcasts.
