AFL Live 2006 for PS2

I noticed that the new version of the AFL video game, AFL Live 2006 is coming out soon. Anyone else tried some of the older versions and were they any good? I love sports video games, I just bought Rugby 2005 the other day which was great. I also have Madden, NHL Hockey, and Fifa.
It says the new one has Online play (I don't know if it would work well from North America), plus you can use the I-Toy to put your own face on an AFL player.
I'd love to add an Aussie Rules video game to the mix. I have one of those GameShark things which I know allows you to play import games on the PS2 so I was considering importing the new version when it comes out next month
