Hello to all you all,

First off, I am sorry that I cannot make it to California for North and Sydney in January. With basketball season in full swing, those of us in the newspaper sports world only get vacation time in June and July. I would really enjoy meeting those I have only emailed or talked with on the phone, especially Rob and Lisa in the membership. Hope all you all have a good time. Go North or as their song says, "North Melbourne is the team that plays to win for you and me".

Second, sorry to have stuffed up (nicest words I could choose on the public) the rework of the AFANA FAQ. I am just so busy, I have not been able to get to it. I have found some good stuff on Wikipedia (the internet dictionary) and I will get on this as soon as I can. Sorry Rob and Lisa.

Third, all of you, get ready for a very angry Geelong in season 2006. If you have read on the Melbourne Herald Sun and Melbourne Age footy sites, Bomber Thompson agonizes over Nick Davis everyday since Josh Hunt went to sleep and the Swans got in the prelimiary final. GFC president Frank Costa cannot get the game out of his mind. I, being of member of Geelong since 1997, cannot get it out of my mind.

Hope that clears my mind, I will get on the FAQ ASAP.

Hi Brian,

Will defininitely miss you in LA but I understand how it goes in the newspaper business.

Let me know if you need anything for the FAQ beyond what I have already sent you. I can send you the current version of everything online if you need it.
