You know, I never really read the t-shirts very carefully.

The other night my daughter was trying to read the back of the shirt. I was helping her figure out how to pronounce some of the words. "Geelong" and "Collingwood" were a bit of a stretch for her.

Then she read one that was so wrong I found myself looking in the mirror to see for myself. But, she read it exactly as it was written.

Has anybody else noticed this mistake?

Well, we'll admit to at least one intentional mistake... when it came to doing the last tee-shirt we realized that the Brisbane "Bears" were still on there... faced with the cost of doing a completely new screen to change that I punted... so the Lions are still the Bears.

There is also a problem that the font ultimately used by the print shop made the letter I and letter L look nearly identical.

And oh, there might be another one or two mistakes... :-)

I'm sorry, I thought Rob's message gave it away.  I have not had a chance to
look for the other typos Rob implies are there.  I take it you don't have the
t-shirt, or by now you would have found...

Taa! No, I don't have the t-shirt and would never have guessed from Rob's post.

Okay, Rob...I took the time to read the whole thing carefully. The closest thing to another mistake I can find is "North Melbourne Kangaroos". And given that they seem confused about what their name really is anymore, can we really count that?

If there are other mistakes, come clean!

You got the other error... North Melbourne should be the Kangaroos... although arguably that was correct when the original silk screen was done.

The Kangaroo cheer squad showed up for their "home" game in Sydney wearing shirts with large "NM" on them.

Although, in fairness, I would suggest that something like the uniforms wouldn't be replaced until they wear out -- particularly for such a change as this. No point in throwing away perfectly good shirts. Of course, the real reason may be that the Kangaroos haven't made a 100% commitment to the change either. Judging from the Realfooty web site reports, if the Swans and Bulldogs have anything to say about it the "Sydney experiment" is doomed.

I think you could count on one hand the number of Swans fans who would be sad to see that happen. And you would still have room to count the Swans victories to date.
