Out of the loop

Greetings: Hey, what with my vacation trip to Yellowstone (very nice, thank you -- go at the start of the season before the crowds arrive) and the flooded basement I came home to (carpet needs replaced, but not a lot of damage to irreplacable items, thanks for asking) I have been somewhat out of the loop. Before I left, I was following a story on at realfooty.com.au, and was wondering if anybody else knew how it turned out. It seems a local town club with 133 years of tradition got involved in a major brawl before a game with their arch-rivals began. The club was suspended from competition for THREE YEARS, and barred from entering teams in a netball league and another league. Imagine the effect this would have on a small country town! In America, the only thing I can think of that would compare would be Texas high school football. Anyway, when last I heard, the suspension was being appealed. An appeal hearing had been held, but the results were not back. Anybody know what (if anything) ended up happening? -- RW "KC Swan" Lipp
