Hi Mark -

Welcome to footy fandom. As you get more into it, you'll find out just how passionate team supporters can be. And you'll love the culture of fandom when you get to Melbourne.

If you are in the Milwaukee area, go check out the Milwaukee Bombers team. They have a website. I'm not sure what the address is, but you can find it by cruising this website for a direct link to them or the USAFL site (www.usfooty.com). They have some Aussies in the side, so you might even be able to get a VB connection.

The Bombers (Essendon that is) are certainly having an incredible run. THeir 20 wins puts them equal second with COllingwood (semi-final replay 1928 through Round 18, 1929). They could equal Geelong's streak of 23 Round 12, 1952 through Round 13, 1953) with their first finals win. A preliminary final win would see them set a new record.

If you have any questions about the game, its history, or players, feel free to drop me an e-mail anytime.
