Rob:

It has been reported here in Melbourne that
Tuesday's "Today" show on NBC, which will be broadcast
from Sydney until the end of the Olympics, will
feature a segment on Melbourne. It will reportedly
include on AFL. Apparently a NBC crew arrived in
Melbourne in August and shot some footage of
Melbourne-North Melbourne preliminary final.

You may also see some footage of clashes between
police and protesters outside Melbourne's Crown
Casino, the venue of this year's World Economic Forum.

I've set my VCR to tape the Today Show all week to see what they cover in Oz. Nice to hear they are going to mention the footy.
