it does not look like EA Sports made anything this year but maybe they realised they could not make a decent footy game. AFL'99 sucked in my opinion.

does anyone know if there were any gaming companies in Australia that made any kind of footy game? and if they will ship it over here to the States if I order one?

your help is appriciated, thanks in advance :)

It's a shame EA can't make a decent spell-checker. You could use one!

Hi Tony -

I know there is a CD-ROM game available - a friend of mine has it. Not sure when it came out - I think 1999. It looks like a lot of fun, and even has commentary Bruce McAvaney.
Check AFANA's merchandise list for it or go to the on-line AFL Store at www.afl.com

EA Sports Australia put out one. I have AFL98 and enjoy it quite well. I haven't seen anything on their site recently for a new version, though. You can check out www.easports.com.au as well.

I think there was an AFL 99 or 2000 game for the playstation. Only problem was that it was released in Australia only. It was for sale through the AFL site for about $80 AUS. It wasnt released to the States.
