OK, I don't know if anyone here happened to catch the Essendon Port game on T.V
but it was the funniest thing ive seen in a long while.
I hopw they play like that all year. The'll get the wooden spoon for sure!

I also happened to trodd along to Carlton Vs Western Bulldogs. what a game.
Carlton are definetly lookin good this year.
Brenden Fevola is one to watch out for, he was red hot today.
the other good players were Mark Porter... Jim Plunkett.. & Andew Merrington.

yayay, another blues fan that hates essendon as much as i do.
i was sitting there watching the essendon, port match and i was literally laughing my head off at the way they were playing, if they keep this up it'll be the bottom for sure. i cant wait to see all my friends that are bombers supporters on monday cause i am going to tease them ssssssoooooooooooo hard because i got it last year when they beat us.
i really wanted to get to carlton match but i couldn't so im definatley going to see us belt the crows at optus. i was so happy to beat the bulldogs espeacially when we didn't have bradley, ratten, sos, kouta, mackay and rice. we rock soooo much and i reckon brendon fevola and marrk porter are really gonna take step up this year and become great players.
i was so happy on friday night watching hamill get done, he thinks his good now but we'll see whose laughing when we have the premiership and he has the wooden spoon. hes so dumd, even though i dont really like paul lucria he almost parlaized, he hit him that hard.

Don't write off Essendon too quickly. Remember, they went into this game without most of their biggest players - Barnes, Hird, Long, Fletcher, Wallis, and a few others. From what I have read, Sheeds is using the loss to spur his team to do better. He even thanked Port Coach Williams for the thumping, saying it was the wake-up call some of the players needed to snap them out of any complacency they might have after Season 2000. Watch for the Bombers to come out next week with all guns blazing.
But Carlton will still take the `01 flag.

What do you mean don't write off Essendon. They went into the game with 15 players that played in the Grand Final of 2000. What game did you watch. Remember they kept rotating their players all year, so most had already played. The only names that were out were Hird, Barnes, Fletcher and Long and Barnes should stop farting and throwing things around the plane and the coach might put him on the feild.

What a game by the Blue boys. There has been comments about Fevola, but he need to learn to kick straight. Hi can take a great mark but can not kick straight.
Plunkett might be one that will be promoted by carlton from the rookie list. We picked him up from Western bulldogs but can not play seniors once the season starts. One Carlton Player to look out for is Doering from Carlton.
Go blues.

Hi Andria -

You're right, I'm not Australian. I am a footy fan and have always had a fondness for Essendon, as long as they aren't playing Carlton.

Besides, I thought Collingwood was the dreaded, hated enemy of Blues fans.

Hi George -

I was replying to Andria's message, but given the Bombers' crash out of the Ansett, she just might be right. It is still early days, and the Bombers could bounce back when the serious stuff starts. But the Blues will still prevail.
Carlton does look to have a more potent forward line this year, even if Fevola can't kick straight. Maybe a bit more work with Sticks on that aspect of his game....But with Plunkett and Lappin in there to support Whitnall and Campo and Backwell sneaking in a few as well, Carlton's attack is definitely stronger.

You might want to check the Milwaukee Bombers web site

http://www.milwaukeebombers.com/

Also, if you haven't already seen it, you may be interested in the US Footy web site

You are not required to buy tickets, but it would probably be appreciated. Somebody associated with the team should be able to sell you all you want; be sure to ask if there is a bonus for buying a large quantity.

...what...OH! Tickets to get into the game? Highly unlikely ;), but there is a good chance that there will be some sort of a raffle going on as a fundraiser for the team. And as I said, you are not required to buy tickets, but it would probably be appreciated.
