OK, everyone,time to put personal rivalries aside and show some compassion.
Your mission: go to the Port Adelaide site at www.portadelaidefc.com.au and send a get well message to Brendon Lade. The guy deserves a change of luck. He broke his leg in two places in Round 4 last year and was out for the season. He did all the rehab and hard work to get back and finally got a game this weekend against Geelong. And what happened? He collided with a Cat player during a marking contest, landed badly, and broke the SAME leg. You know he's got to be pretty devastated.I don't care who ya barrack for, please go to the site and send the poor guy a message. I barrack for Carlton and sent one. My friend Pat, an Eagle fan, has also sent a message.
Let's all, as footy fans, give him a lift with a few words of encouragement.Just think - what if it was Paul Kelly (to all you Swans fans), or Kouta (all you Carlton fans), or Hird (Essendon fans) I could go on, but you get the idea.
