Hi Davo,

Unfortunately, AFANA hasn't received any announcement for Houston yet. That doesn't mean there isn't one. You might try the phone book and see if there is a chapter of the Australian American Chamber of Commerce or something similar as they often host parties. Also, soccer bars are usually a good place to start since they likely get FOX Sports World.

I will send you the name of one of our members in the Houston area you can contact by e-mail to see if they can help.

If you find one or if anyone else reading the BBS knows of a party in Houston then please let us know!

I'm trying to arrange one as we speak (Aussie expat), I've just put up a request for interest at my site http://www.jasonbainbridge.com to try to guage numbers outside of my own friends. I think we might face some trouble with the TABC's 2:00am rule though but I'll try to find a venue better than someone's house that is willing and the more people that are interested the easier it will be.
