Match of the Week Coverage

	Bob Responses To This Message: Rob de Santos	Match of the Week Coverage Saturday, 6 April 2002, at 11:24 a.m. US Eastern Time I was disappointed that they cut the Geelong-Essendon game short this week to show highlights from the other games. Even though it wasn't a very competitive game, I would have prefered to see more of it rather than film that is repeated on the highlights program. Will they be doing all their programs this way this year?

Bob, Yes, that appears to be the case... as you will have read in one of earlier TV updates this year, AFL and AFL Films have expanded the time allotted to summarizing other matches of the round this year at the expense of the featured match. I can see the logic of this both ways. The part this I don't like is the overlap between the highlights and the MOTW this creates. -Rob de Santos AFANA Chairman AFANA TV Page
