Advertising requirements

Web page banners may be in GIF or JPEG format, and may be animated with a maximum file size of 16k. We recommend that you keep the size at 468 x 60 pixels. We also accept square advertisements of 120 x 120 pixels for side panel placement but space is limited and rates for this will vary.  Payment is required prior to display of the banner. We can accept payment by check, money order, PayPal or wire transfer but not credit card. Advertisements may contain either / or / both graphics and text. 

We accept banner advertisements and they appear in rotation on all pages at this site. We reserve the right to modify or reject any advertisement not meeting our standards. 

Sizes and formats for the html newsletters are typically 410 x 53 pixels.  Newsletter text advertisements should be under 300 characters but it is negotiable.

Advertising from sites that promote or engage in political, gambling, *gambling term*, or sexually related activity are not accepted.

Advertising Rates

We price our rates based the prevailing standards for US based web site advertising. We offer a 20% multiple insertion discount. All prices are in $US although we will accept payments in equivalent amounts of $Australian and $Canadian. Minimum period for any advertisement is one month or one issue. Rates are for advertisements placed at the top of each page**. All advertisements must be prepaid.

*One free newsletter ad for every three months of web advertising purchased.  Newsletters are weekly during the AFL season (March to September) and approximately monthly at other times .

**Additional discounts are negotiable for longer contracts and off-season periods (October to January).
