Nationwide coverage of Aussie rules in 2009 for US fans will be on Setanta Sports [Setanta is available on DirecTV ch. 621, DISH Network ch. 406, WorldTV (Globecast satellite services) and Home2US (satellite service); on NexTV, GekTV, and ConnecTV (IPTV providers); and on some AT&T U-verse, Cox, Comcast, and RCN Cable systems], and Aussie rules is also on MHz Worldview (WorldTV ch. 52, DirecTV International ch. 2183, and some local outlets as noted below). For Canadians, Setanta Canada (various cable and satellite systems including Bell ExpressVu ch. 420, Star Choice, Shaw, Rogers, EastLink, and SaskTel) has similar coverage to the US channel with some time differences: mostly for delayed telecasts which are noted on our schedules and AFL Highlights are back for the finals. This web page will have schedules below for those networks each week all season, updated as information becomes available. Coverage on Setanta only is up to 3 matches LIVE each week. Eventually we are promised the remaining 5 matches each week on delay. We do not expect all matches to be aired in this season. Washington DC area viewers should check our MHz Networks 1 / WNVC listings. Coverage in 2009 on Setanta will begin with the preseason NAB Cup on 7 Feb. and runs through to the Grand Final, live at the end of the season in September.
