Sad day for Essendon

I am sadened to hear of the passing of Bombers backpocket, Alan Thaw at the age of 81. He played 41 games for the Bombers from 1949 to 1954 and was a member of the 1949 Premiership side. I'm sure he will be missed by many Essendon fans.
