What is a "cork" injury?

I'm pretty new to the world of AFL & am loving it. I've heard the term "cork" used in reference to an injury, a "cork thigh", "cork in the buttock", etc.  Can anyone explain to me what  "cork" means in this regard?  Knowing nothing other than the word, I'm assuming it's something akin to a muscle knot.

It's a muscle bruise or "charley horse".   See here:

Never mind.  I just found my answer on the Footy Words FAQ  Odd, this page didn't come up for me on the site's "General" or "Keyword" search.
