Charges Laid:

Bradd Dalziell (WCE), tripping Richmond's Daniel Connors: assessed as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point), and body contact (one point), equaling four activation points, a Level One offense, 80 demerits, and a reprimand. He has no record and accepted, reducing the penalty 25% to 60 demerits, still a reprimand with the demerits held over toward his future record.

Leigh Montagna (STK), tripping Fremantle's Garrick Ibbotson: assessed as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point), and body contact (one point), equaling four activation points, a Level One offense, 80 demerits and a reprimand. He has 45 demerits held over from the past year, increasing the penalty 25% to 125 demerits and a one game suspension. He accepted, reducing the penalty 25% to 93.75 demerits and a reprimand with the demerits held over toward his future record.

The match day report laid against Geelong's David Wojcinski for striking Essendon’s Alwyn Davey during the second quarter of Saturday’s match was assessed by the Match Review Panel (MRP). The panel deemed the force used by Wojcinski was below what was required for a report and dismissed it.

The match day report laid against St Kilda’s Justin Koschitzke for striking Fremantle’s Ryan Crowley was assessed by the MRP. The panel deemed the force used by Koschitzke was below what was required for a report and dismissed it.
