500 goals: Matthew Pavlich (FREM), needed four goals to reach the milestone and did it in the dying minutes of the Dockers' match against Port Adelaide. It looked like he would be stranded on 499 when he came off the ground in the first term after suffering a knock to his knee, but he returned to finish out the game and be the first player in the club's history to kick 500 goals. He is also the 50th player in League history to kick 500 goals, a milestone within a milestone. Brisbane's Jonathan Brown and Saint Stephen Milne both kicked their 500th career goal earlier this season.

Most Games, Pair of Brothers: Chad and Kane Cornes have tied for eighth place on the list of brothers to have played the most games in League history. Including this past round, Chad has played 243 games and Kane has played 229 games. The leaders are: Madden (710 with 378 for Simon, 332 for Justin), Nankervis (578 with 325 for Ian and 253 for Bruce), Coventry (533 with 227 for Syd and 306 for Gordon), Richardson (518 with 277 for Wayne and 241 for Max), Wakelin (513 with 252 for Darryl and 261 for Shane), Rocca (499 with 257 for Saverio and 242 for Anthony), Matthews (487 with 332 for Leigh and 155 for Kelvin), Hocking (473 with 199 for Stephen and 274 for Garry), Cornes (472 games comprising 243 for Chad and 229 for Kane), Collier (470 with 253 for Harry and 217 for Albert).

Father-Son combined games: Gary Ablett, Sr and Gary Ablett, Jr. Gary, Jr played his 217th game this week, after his father played 248 games for Hawthorn and Geelong. This ties the pair with the Whitten family in sixth place on the League's list for combined games by a father and son. The leaders are: Fletcher (617 games with 264 for Ken and 353 for Dustin), Tuck (572 games with 426 games for Michael and 146 for for Shane), Silvagni (551 games with for Sergio and 312 for Stephen), Cloke (488 with 333 games for David and 155 games for Travis), Scarlett (483 with 212 for John and 271 for Matthew), Whitten (465 with 321 games for Ted, Sr and 144 for Ted, Jr).

100 consecutive games: Brett Deledio played his 100th consecutive game, making him only the second current player to reach the mark. He joins Carlton's Kade Simpson who played his 150th consecutive match in Round Five.
