900 Premiership games as player and coach: Kevin Sheedy took part in his 900th career match as a player and coach. This is a first in League history. Sheedy played 251 games with Richmond and coached Essendon in 635 games. This was his 14th game as coach at GWS.

Michael Malthouse: 838 games as a player, 663 as a coach
Leigh Matthews: 793 games (332 as a player, 461 games as a coach)

Ron Barassi: 718 games (254 as a player and playing coach, 464 as coach)
Norm Smith: 659 games (227 as a player, 432 as a coach)

500 games: The Adelaide Crows played their 500th AFL match in Round 15, since joining the competition in 1991.
Most Games, Pair of Brothers: Chad Cornes played his 250th game in Round 15 while his brother Kane played his 237th, for a combined total of 487 games. This ties them with Leigh and Kelvin Matthews in seventh place on the all-time list for games by two brothers. The leaders are the Maddens (710, Justin 332, Simon 378), Nankervis (578, Ian 325, Bruce 253), Coventry (760, Syd 227, Gordon 306), Richardson (518, Wayne 277, Max 241), Wakelin (513, Darryl 252, Shane 261), Rocca (499, Sav 257, Anthony 242), Matthews (487, Leigh 332, Kelvin 155), Cornes (see above), Hocking (473, Stephen 199, Garry 274), Collier (470, Harry 254, Albert 217).
250 games: Stephen Milne (St K) became the second player behind James McDonald to play 250 games after being rookie listed. McDonald heads the list with 260 games after being rookie listed in 1997. Milne was rookie listed in 2000. Others on the list are Brett Kirk (241 games, 1999 Rookie Draft), Dean Cox (240 games, 2000 Rookie Draft), Mal Michael (238 games, 1997 Rookie Draft), Russell Robertson (228 games, 1997 Rookie Draft), Tarkyn Lockyer (227 games, 1998 Rookie Draft), Michael Doughty (220 games, 2000 Rookie Draft), Darren Jolly (218 games, 2001 Rookie Draft) and Nathan Bassett (210 games, 1997 Rookie Draft).
150 club games as Captain: Chris Judd's Round 15 match was his 150th as a club captain. He led the Eagles in 49 games before crossing to Carlton. He is the 18th player in League history to captain a club in 150 games and the first to do so with two different clubs. 500 goals: Hawk Lance Franklin kicked two goals in the first term in Round 15. The second was his 500th career goal. He is the fifth player in club history to reach the mark. The others are: Jason Dunstall (1254 goals, 1985-98), Leigh Matthews (915 goals, 1969-85), Peter Hudson (727 goals, 1967-74 and 1977) and Michael Moncrieff (629 goals, 1971-83). Franklin is the 53rd player in League history to kick 500 goals or more and is the fourth player this season to reach 500 goals. Jonathan Brown, Stephen Milne, Matthew Pavlich and Nick Riewoldt all achieved the feat earlier this season.
