Believe it or not, NC has its very own Australian Rules football team: The mighty NC Tigers! We are based here in Raleigh and our playing list is made up of Americans and Australians living all across this great state.

We are celebrating our tenth year this year and the club has reached record heights. Now it is time for our annual Grand Final Party. It's kind of like the NFL Superbowl but with a better sport on display. So come join us at Woody's City Tavern at 10:30 PM to celebrate the game and watch the 2008 AFL Grand Final.

I'm spewin I didnt know about this party sooner !!! Not a cats nor hawks supporter but its THE grand final and i always watch it, first year in US and Im missing it !! NEXT year I'll be there with bells on !! Pretty impressed there is somewhere that even knows what afl is ! Good job !
