Google Earth is such an awesome programme. I ended up trying to see if I could find all the AFL stadiums. It's neat to get some perspective of where they all are in relation to each other like that on a Satellite image. The MCG, Telstra Dome, and even Skilled Stadium I found easily.
I have to say that I disagree with the FAQ when it says that the:
The announcers should be American so Americans can understand the game better.
Personally I really like the Aussie commentators and wouldn't someone else's voice superimposed over. It's similar to how many Soccer fans feel about having "non-British" accents during soccer, it just seems wrong and off.
So what's the story about Canadian / American coverage of the replay? I'm hoping TSN2 will cover the replay
OMG, I just got home from work (I work evenings) and just read the news.
Good job AFANA, :-)

As a Canadian I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I "could" subscribe to ITVN but from what I understand you have to agree to a contract to get the box for free. The problem is that "if" Setanta Canada actually manages to launch this year and "if" my Cable company, Shaw Cable, actually decides to carry it half way through the season, I'd be stuck with a box I would no longer want but would be stuck paying for. On the other hand, if I don't get subscribe to ITVN and Setanta Canada is never actually available for me I end up missing early rounds of the AFL season and possibly won't be able to see any footy at all this year. read more »
I just got a msg on the message centre on my Shaw Digital Cable box. It says that "Setanta Canada" there will be a FREE PREVIEW until Sept 7, 2007. Previously I heard that it was not going to be available on Shaw but now I've received confirmation that it is. The price is listed as $14.99/month CAD according to the message on my cable box. read more »

I've noticed that from time-to-time when watching Setanta they sometimes "sc**w-up". Instead of selecting the "centre-cut" option from their incoming international feeds f read more »
