Hey Folks,

I'm flying from Perth, Western Australia at the worst possible time ever, I get into Pittsburgh at 8:30pm on Friday 28th September, after several flights and not much sleep, and I will be desperate to see the big game....

Are there any AFL Grandfinal Parties happening in Pittsburgh?

Any idea what pubs/bars will be open and playing the AFL grandfinal?

If forced to watch it in my Hotel, what channel will it be on?

Please help me out here, I quite litterally know no one in Pittsburgh :(

Cheers,
Alex

Hi Alex,

At this time we have not received a party announcement for Pittsburgh though we have in some past years.  Half of the announcements come in during the last 10 days before the match so it is still possible we will receive one.

Any soccer oriented pub will likely carry Fox Soccer Plus which is the channel carrying the game however most bars in Pittsburgh will close before the match is over.  You might check with your hotel to see if they have it available though that is a long shot.  If you have access to a computer you can watch it via LiveSport.tv for a fee.

The last suggestion is to post on our Facebook page and someone there might have an idea, too.  There are Pittsburgh locals who follow the page.  Good luck.
