Charges Laid:
James Kelly (GEEL), rough conduct against Brisbane's Jed Adcock: reckless conduct (two points), medium impact (two points), and high contact (two points), equaling six points a Level Three offense, 325 demerits, and a three game suspension. Kelly accepted, reducing the penalty 25% to 243.75 points and a two match suspension.
Shane Crawford (HAW), striking Docker Ryley Dunn: reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point), and high contact (two points), equaling five points, a Level Two offense, 125 demerits and a one game suspension. His five year good record reduces this 25% to 93.75 points and a reprimand. Crawford accepted, reducing the penalty a further 25% to a 70.31 demerits and a reprimand.
Shane Crawford, striking Docker Peter Bell: intentional conduct (three points), low impact (one point), and high contact (two points), equaling six points, a Level Three offense, 225 demerits, and a two game suspension. His five year good record reduces the penalty 25% to 168.75 demerits and a one game suspension. Crawford accepted reducing the penalty a further 25% to 126.56 demerits and a one match suspension.
Both players accepted the penalties. In Crawford's case the 70.31 from the first charge and the remaining 26.66 from the second charge will be added together for a total of 96.97 demerits held over toward his future record.
