Charges Laid:

Adam Schneider (STK), striking Collingwood's Brent Macaffer: assessed as intentional conduct (three points), low impact (one point) and high contact (two points), equaling six activation points, a Level Three offense, 225 demerits and a two game suspension. A Grand Final increases the penalty a further 100% based on the points for the offense. Therefore, Schneider's penalty is increased to 450 demerits and a four game suspension. His five year good record reduces the penalty 25% to 393.75 demerits and a three game suspension. He accepted, reducing the penalty a further 25% to 295.31 demerits and a two game suspension with 95.31 demerits held over toward his future record. Schneider will miss the first two rounds of the 2011 season but will be allowed to play in the preseason matches.
