FATHER-SON COMBINATION

Jobe Watson played his 143rd game in Round 11, putting him and his father Tim in eighth place on the league list of father-son combinations. Tim Watson played 307 games for the Bombers and is currently the co-host of Morning Glory on SEN Radio.

The father-son combination leaders are:

Fletcher, 621 games (Ken, 264 and Dustin, 357 through Round 11)
Tuck, 577 games (Michael, 426 and Shane, 151 through Round 11)
Silvagni, 551 games (Sergio, 239 and Stephen, the current list manager for Greater Western Sydney, 312)
Cloke, 493 games (David, 333 and Travis, 160 through Round 11)
Scarlett, 486 games (John, 212 and Matthew, 274 through Round 11)
Ablett, 469 games (Gary Sr, 248 and Gary Jr 221 through Round 11. Nathan Ablett played 32 games for the Cats, bringing the Ablett total to 501 games.)
Whitten, 465 games (Ted Sr, 321 and Ted Jr, 144)
Tim and Jobe Watson (450 combined games, ESS)

MOST CLUB GAMES

Kane Cornes (PA) played his 234th game in Round 11, putting him equal fourth with Brendon Lade on the club's list for AFL games played. Cornes debuted in 2001. The leaders are Warren Tredrea (255 games, 1997-2010), Peter Burgoyne (240 games, 1997-2009), Chad Cornes (239 games, 1999-2011), Brendon Lade (234 games, 1997-2009) and Kane Cornes (233 games, 2001-current).

500 goals: Nick Riewoldt (ST K) needed three goals to reach the 500 tally. He kicked seven in the Round 11 match against Gold Coast, making him the fifth player in the club's history to do so. He joins Tony Lockett (898 goals, 1983-94), Bill Mohr (735 goals, 1929-41), Stewart Loewe (594 goals, 1986-2002) and Stephen Milne (510 goals, 2001-current), with 51 players in the game’s history having already reached 500 goals.
