Most Games in History: Dustin Fletcher (ESS) played his 364th game in Round 20, putting him equal with Bulldog Brad Johnson in seventh position on the list of league games. The leaders for most games in league history are: Michael Tuck (HAW, 426 games), Kevin Bartlett (RICH, 403 games), Robert Harvey (StK, 383 games), Simon Madden (ESS, 378 games), Craig Bradley (CARL, 375 games), Bernie Quinlan (FOOTSCRAY now WB and FITZ, 366 games), Brad Johnson and Dustin Fletcher (364 games), John Blakey (FITZ/NM, 359 games), Bruce Doull (CARL, 356 games), Paul Roos (FITZ/SYD, 356 games), Doug Hawkins (FOOTS/FITZ, 350 games), Chris Grant (WB, 341 games), Brent Harvey (NM, 342 games through Round 20), Andrew McLeod (ADE, 340 games), John Rantall (South Melbourne/NM/FITZ, 336 games), David Cloke (RICH/COL, 333 games), Kevin Murray (FITZ, 333 games), Justin Madden (ESS/CARL, 332 games), Leigh Matthews (HAW, 332 games).

AFL Life Membership: Damien Hardwick (RICH) qualified for AFL Life Membership in Round 20 with his 300th league game as a player and coach. He debuted with Essendon in 1994 and played 153 games with the Bombers before crossing to Port Adelaide where he played 54 games. Hardwick has the distinction of being a Premiership player with both clubs, won the Best and Fairest at Essendon in 1998 and was named All-Australian in 2000. He played 13 pre-season games with Essendon and five with Port, four International Rules games, and has coached Richmond in 63 games.

Most Club Games: Brad Green (MELB) played his 252nd game in Round 20, putting him equal with Brian Dixon in sixth place for most games played with the Demons. The most games for Melbourne in club history are: David Neitz (306 games, 1993-2008), Robert Flower (272 games, 1973-87), Adem Yze (271 games, 1995-2008), Jim Stynes (264 games, 1987-98), Steven Febey (258 games, 1988-2001), Brian Dixon (252 games, 1954-68), Brad Green (252 games, 2000-current), James McDonald (251 games, 1997-2010), Jeff White (236 games, 1998-2008) and Brett Lovett (235 games, 1986-97).

Most Club Games: Ryan O’Keefe (SYD) played his 252nd game in Round 20, putting him equal with Mark Browning in fifth spot on the club's games list. The most games for South Melbourne/Sydney in club history are: Adam Goodes (313 games, 1999-current through Round 20), Michael O’Loughlin (303 games, 1995-2009), Jude Bolton (297 games, 1999-current), John Rantall (260 games, 1963-72, 1976-79), Mark Browning (251 games, 1975-87), Ryan O’Keefe (251 games, 2000-current), Stephen Wright (246 games, 1979-92), Mark Bayes (246 games, 1985-98), Daryn Cresswell (244 games, 1992-2003) and Brett Kirk (241 games, 1999-2010).

200 games: Domenic Cassisi (PA), becomes the sixth player in club history to reach 200 games. He joins Warren Tredrea (255 games, 1997-2010), Kane Cornes (242 games, 2001-current), Peter Burgoyne (240 games, 1997-2009), Chad Cornes (239 games, 1999-2011) and Brendon Lade (234 games, 1997-2009).

50 games: Jack Grimes (MELB), Ben Cunnington, Sam Wright (NM)
