Just a quick note to say that the NTFL (AFL Northern Territory) league just began its season, and the key games can be found on their YouTube Channel, both broadcast live and archived. This is a lower-division/ minor league so the quality of play is not as good as the Premiership, but it's still quite good, and pretty darned entertaining to watch in the AFL offseason-- their Grand Final coincides with the beginning of AFL season, so if it's footy you want, this is a good remedy for the next 6 months, and you'll get to see some stars in the making. The broadcast itself is charmingly low-key, perhaps 1 camera on top of Darwin's TIO Oval broadcasting booth, with the commentary taken from the ABC radio feed. If you need a footy fix, this is the place to find it.
