Most Games, Brothers: the Selwood brothers will play a combined total of 503 games in Round Nine, putting them in tenth place on the League's all time list of combined games by brothers and ahead of the Shaw brothers. The breakdown is 182 games for Adam (WCE), 75 games for Troy (delisted by Brisbane), 142 games for Joel (GEEL) and 99 games for Scott (WCE).

AFL history's leading families are Daniher 752 games (Terry 313, Neale 82, Tony 233 and Chris 124); Madden 710 (Simon 378, Justin 332); Morwood, 611 (Paul 170, Tony 229, Shane 212); Nankervis, 578 (Ian 325, Bruce 253); Coventry, 533 (Syd 227, Gordon 306); Richardson, 518 (Wayne 277, Max 241); Ablett, 515 (Geoff 229, Kevin 38, Gary Sr 248; Wakelin, 513 (Shane 252, Darryl 261) and Cornes, 507 (Chad 255, Kane 252).

Most Games, Pair of Brothers: Shaun Burgoyne will play his 230th game in Round Nine, putting him and his brother Peter (240 games) equal with the Collier brothers in tenth place on the all time list for games by two brothers. The leaders are Madden 710 (Simon 378, Justin 332); Nankervis 578 (Ian 325, Bruce 253); Coventry 533 (Syd 227, Gordon 306); Richardson 518 (Wayne 277, Max 241); Wakelin 513 (Shane 252, Darryl 261); Cornes 507 (Chad 255, Kane 252) and Rocca 495 (Anthony 238, Saverio 257).

AFL Life Membership: John Longmire (SYD) will qualify for AFL Life Membership in Round Nine, which will be his 300th official game since his playing debut with North Melbourne in 1988. His career includes 200 premiership games, 25 preseason games, 5 State of Origin games, 57 premiership games as senior coach of the Swans and 12 preseason games as senior coach.

Most Club Games: Corey Enright (GEEL) will play his 253rd game for the Cats in Round Nine, putting him equal with Bruce Nankervis in ninth spot in the club’s history. Ahead of him are Ian Nankervis (325 games), John Newman (300 games), Darren Milburn (292 games), Peter Riccardi (288 games), Matthew Scarlett (284 games), Garry Hocking (274 games), Joel Corey (260 games), Paul Couch (259 games), Bruce Nankervis (253 games) and Corey Enright (252 games).

Most Club Games: Daniel Giansiracusa (WB) , will play his 237th game in Round Nine, putting him equal with Scott Wynd in tenth place in the club’s history. Ahead of him are Brad Johnson (364 games, 1994-2010), Chris Grant (341 games, 1990-2007), Doug Hawkins (329 games, 1978-94), Scott West (324 games, 1993-2008), Ted Whitten senior (321 games, 1951-70), Rohan Smith (300 games, 1992-2006), Tony Liberatore (282 games, 1986-2002), Arthur Oliver (272 games, 1935-50) and Steve Wallis (261 games, 1983-96).
