Just ahead of Round 12, the AFL held their annual Hall of Fame induction ceremonies. Three were honored posthumously - the late Trevor Barker, the late Jim Deane and the late Ron Evans. The other three were Brad Hardie, Mick Malthouse and Ken Hunter.

Saints Add To Hall of Fame

St Kilda recently celebrated 140 years in the competition. The celebrations included the induction of Robert Harvey into the club Hall of Fame and the elevation of three members to Legend status. Neil Roberts, Ross Smith and Trevor Barker joined Darrel Baldock, Ian Stewart, Allan Jeans and Tony Lockett as club legends.

Career Wins Coached: Michael Malthouse (Carlton) recorded his 387th career win when the Blues defeated West Coast in Round Four. This puts him in third place on the all-time League list, just behind Jock McHale (467 wins with Collingwood) and Kevin Sheedy (388 wins with Essendon and GWS Giants).
