Nothing as far as we know
We're not aware of any planned coverage at this point. It's possible the AFL will make available some "highlight" package (which could be anything from a few clips to a full summary) but so far we have seen nothing to indicate even that much is planned.
There is no coverage that we are aware of inside Australia other than what local TV sports might do. AFANA made inquiries and offered assistance to Setanta and MHz Networks prior to this AFL season but never received any reply. Since nothing has appeared on the Setanta schedule at this stage (and we have it for the USA through to early October) we are assuming no coverage will occur.
You can anticipate a minute or so about it in the weekly AFL highlights shows but those aren't available in Canada, only the USA. (update: AFL highlights will be seen in Canada during the finals in 2008),

I don't suppose there is any hope of TV coverage of any of the International Cup matches?
I would think that there'd be some interest in North America in watching the US and Canadian teams when they play, though they don't play each other in the rounds. And certainly there would be strong interest in the finals, at the very least.
I emailed Setanta back in May asking about possible coverage. They replied...
"...we do know about this competition but whether or not these games are going to be televised is still up for debate. Once that decision is made we will have a better idea of what we will do with it."
A couple of days ago I asked them if a decision had been made, but haven't received an answer yet. I'm hoping the ever vigilant folks here at AFANA know all about it.
