The 2010 Grand Final had all the drama of Australia's real reality television, Australian Rules Football. The last Saturday of September delivered an anti-climax in a drawn match. Under the current AFL rules, a replay was called and had to be played the following week.  read more »

Pies Smash Cats In Preliminary Final

During the week preceding the Preliminary Final, Mark Thompson uncharacteristically focused on Collingwood in a rare display of overt mind games. Mick Malthouse let the Collingwood players do the talking in the media to refute claims of 'hating' Geelong. Before the game, Cats' fans were nervous while Pies' fans were excited in a fearful sort of way.  read more »

A withering display of class and teamwork boosted St Kilda’s Premiership rating sky high on Easter Saturday. The Saints were in outstanding touch, completely wrong footing a disappointing and ineffective West Coast Eagles side. Coach John Worsfold must be shaking his head in dismay over the lack luster performance of his senior players who capitulated in dismal fashion under a devastating football lesson handed out courtesy of the unstoppable Saints brigade.  read more »
