After an admission of drug taking, Premiership medals and a raft of club best and fairest, Ben Cousins played his last game of AFL football today against the Port Power. It was not be the fairytale finish with a win, but  watched on by his family Ben played out the match and although he started on the bench, the crowd roared when he was rotated on early on in the first quarter.

At the West Coast Eagles he achieved success at the highest level yet he played out the final two seasons, journeyman style, training hard, managing his off field issues and mentoring the young Tigers with his disciplined training regime. His life story was aired this week on Channel 7 causing much debate on his Jekyll and Hyde personality.

He has SUCH IS LIFE tattooed across his abdomen

Thanks for a great career Ben
