The match day reports laid against Brisbane's Joel MacDonald and Melbourne's Colin Sylvia for wrestling were assessed. The Match Review Panel ruled that although the two players did grapple with one another, it was for a very short time before they both fell to the ground. Once on the ground, they ceased grappling with each other. The panel deemed that as the contact was not of a sustained vigorous nature it was not a reportable offense and dismissed the report.
