Well, I did pretty well on the Round 15 tipping selections: 6-2. For the two competitions in which I participate, I came in second and the other I was No. 1! In the first competition two guys were 7-1, a very respectable tip this year. I've already sent them my congratulations. In the second, two of us were 6-2, but I was closer on the margin.
My Cardiac Kids from Carlton made a run for it in the 4th quarter, but they were just too far down to make the comeback. This game was a 50-50 for me and I just went the wrong way.
The Bombers did a number on the Lions in a real defensive game: 155-118. (Where was the defense?) Maybe Coach Knights new offense is beginning to take hold.
Oh well, Round 15 is over, so on to Round 16. This will be especially tough to tip. First, because any of the teams from the Swans to the Power can beat up on each other on any given day. Second, because two of the top 3 teams are playing (Cats and Bulldogs), and two of the bottom feeders are playing (Dockers and Devils). So each contest, with perhaps the exception of the Lions and Eagles, could go either way in my mind.
I've made and submitted my initial tips already. However, I'm still pondering them. I'll make my final input on Thursday morning, EDT.
