Career Wins Coached: Michael Malthouse (Carlton) recorded his 387th career win when the Blues defeated West Coast in Round Four. This puts him in third place on the all-time League list, just behind Jock McHale (467 wins with Collingwood) and Kevin Sheedy (388 wins with Essendon and GWS Giants).
AFL Life Membership: Lenny Hayes (StK) qualifies for AFL Life membership this week with his 300th official game since his debut in 1999, comprising 267 matches, 30 preseason games and two international rules matches.
Most Games Without a Finals Appearance: Chris Newman (RICH) played his 219th game this week, since his debut in 2002. It puts him equal with Gary Hardeman (219 games for Melbourne, 1967-77 and 1981) in third place for most games in VFL/AFL history without a final. Ahead of them are Trevor Barker (230 games for St Kilda) and Geoff Cunningham (224 games for St Kilda). Just behind them is Steven Smith (203 games for Melbourne).
