Charges Laid:
Max Rooke (GEEL), bumping or making forceful contact from front-on against Adelaide's Mark Ricciuto: assessed as negligent conduct (one point), medium impact (two points) and high contact (two points), equaling five points, a Level Two offense, 250 demerits and a two game suspension. He has an existing five-year good record, reducing the penalty 25% to 187.52 demerits and a one game suspension. points and a one-match sanction. He accepted, reducing the penalty a further 25% to 140.63 demerits, still a one game suspension.
The MRP reviewed the incident in which Fremantle's Dean Solomon appeared to strike Richmond's Chris Newman. the Panel ruled that Solomon's forearm made contact with Newman's arm and that contact to his abdominal region was minimal and not reportable.
