Every September, Australia throws a party and invites the world to come. It’s the Australian Football League Grand Final, and it’s live at Bondi on Friday! Now this is Australian football (not soccer, not rugby), and the Grand Final, played in front of over 100,000 roaring fans at the MCG in Melbourne, makes the Superbowl look like touch football and the World Series seem like the little league!
The live telecast starts at 8:30 but the finals atmosphere will be building all night, so get down early to be sure to get in, grab a few beers and a couple of pies, or a fabulous Bondi dinner in the kitchen bar and get ready for three hours of phenomenal athleticism and barely controlled brutality performed by semi-naked Aussie supermen on a field half the size of Texas – in the Greatest Game Of All!
