The 2008 AFANA Member's Tipping Comp is now open for registration. It's never too late to enter.  It's FREE to members, no entry fees are required.  To join go to the bottom of this page.

With only a small field, your chances at the prizes are very high.

Just a reminder of the rules:
Each week, sometime before 12:01 AM (USA Eastern Time) of the day the round begins (usually Friday), send your tips to: tipp...@afana.com. A standard text-based email in any format is suitable - there is no required "format" for the entries. If you receive an automated email listing your weekly tips from another tipping competition, you can simply forward this email to us at tipping at afana point com. Round 1 tips are due before THURSDAY, MARCH 20, 2008 at 12:01 AM EDT (US Eastern Standard Time). Results will be sent by e-mail early the following week.

Scores will be computed as follows:
- one point for each correct pick for the round;
- two point bonus for picking all 8 winning teams in a round;
- an additional one point each time you pick a winner that nobody else in the competition picks!

Additional information:
- Entrants who fail to submit tips for a given week will automatically get all "away" clubs and whatever points so earned.
- Entrants sending their tips in late will receive "away" clubs and whatever points so earned for matches completed or in progress before their tips are received.
- Enrolled participants who don't send in any tips during the first four rounds of the season or four consecutive rounds during the season will be removed from the comp.

We hope you will continue in the competition this year. Who's ready to take up the challenge of knocking the 2006 and 2007 winner, Gerry Daley, as the #1 AFANA tipper??

*If you were enrolled in the competition last year, you don't have to sign up again just send in your round 1 entries before the deadline.  (If you do not wish to participate this year you may unsubscribe from the mailing list below and we'll drop you from the comp.)

This list is for weekly results of the tipping contest only. Only current members of AFANA are eligible.

Subscribing is a two step, double opt-in process.  This is done to protect your privacy and prevent unsolicited mail.  The initial e-mail message has a link that you must click on (or cut and paste into your web browser).  You must reply to that first e-mail and activate your subscription as soon as possible.  (We have a time limit on activations to prevent spammers from polluting our lists.) That will confirm your subscription and you will get a second e-mail with your details.  Welcome!

If you are unsubscribing, you must enter the e-mail address exactly as it is on your newletter including capitalization or your request may fail.
