Charges Laid:

Chris Judd (WCE), fined $3200 for a first offense of making contact with an umpire. Judd accepted, reducing the fine 25% to $2400.

Anthony Rocca (COL), striking Sydney's Adam Goodes: assessed as negligent conduct (one point), low impact (one point) and high contact (two points), equaling four points, a Level One offense, and 80 demerits. He has a total of two matches suspended within the last three years, increasing the penalty 20% per cent to 96 points. He also has 25 residual demerits carried over from within the past 12 months, for a total of 121 demerits and a one game suspension. He accepted, reducing the penalty to 90.75 demerits and a reprimand with the demerits held over toward his future record.

Amon Buchanan (SYD), engaging in rough conduct against Collingwood's Martin Clarke: assessed as reckless conduct (two points), high impact (three points) and body contact (one point), equaling six points, a Level Three offense, 325 demerits and a three game suspension. He has an existing five-year good record, reducing the penalty 25% to 243.75 points and a two game suspension. He accepted, reducing the penalty a further 25% 182.81 demerits and a one game suspension.

Josh Carr (FRE), bumping or making forceful contact from front-on against Melbourne's Chris Johnson: assessed as negligent conduct (one point), low impact (one point) and high contact (two points), equaling four points, a Level One offense, 125 demerits and a one game suspension. He has an existing poor record of three matches suspended within the last three years, increasing the penalty 30% 162.50 demerits. He also has 87.50 demerits carried over from within the last 12 months, further increasing the penalty to 250 demerits and a two game suspension. He accepted, reducing the penalty 25% to 187.50 demerits and a one game suspension.

Brock McLean (MELB), fined $1200 for a first offense of wrestling Fremantle's Byron Schammer. He accepted, reducing the fine 25% to $900.

Byron Schammer (FRE), fined $2400 for a second offense of wrestling Melbourne's Brock McLean. He accepted, reducing the fine 25% to $1800.

Brad Miller (MELB), fined $4000 for a third offense in wrestling Fremantle's Dean Solomon. He accepted, reducing the fine 25% to $3000.

Dean Solomon (FRE), fined $2400 for a first offense of wresting Melbourne's Brad Miller. He accepted, reducing the fine 25% to $900.

The match day report laid against Adelaide's Brent Reilly for rough conduct against Brisbane's Cheynee Stiller was assessed. The Match Review Panel ruled that Reilly slides into the contest for the ball. He turned his body to lessen the impact and contact was made to Stiller's upper back. The panel ruled that the contact was not unreasonable in the circumstances and dismissed the report.

The match day report laid against the Western Bulldogs' Dale Morris for rough conduct against Hawthorn's Clinton Young was assessed. The MRP ruled that Morris tried to slow up to lessen the impact. They further ruled that Morris' contact was not a bump or forceful and dismissed the report.
