Charges Laid:

Michael Firrito (NM): wresting Geelong's Paul Chapman: fined $1200 to for a first offense. He accepted, reducing the fine 25% to $900.

Adam Goodes (SYD), rough conduct against Eagle Adam Selwood: assessed as negligent conduct (one point), low impact (one point) and high contact (two points), equaling four points, a Level One offense, 125 demerits and a one game suspension. He accepted, reducing the penalty 25% to 93.75 demerits and a reprimand.

Adam Selwood (WCE), striking Sydney's Amon Buchanan: assessed as intentional conduct (three points), low impact (one point) and body contact (one point), equaling five points, a Level Two offense, 125 demerits, and a one game suspension. His five year clean record reduces the penalty 25% to 93.75 demerits and a reprimand.. Had he accepted, the penalty would have been reduced a further 25% to 70.31 demerits and a reprimand.

Selwood took his case to the Tribunal in an effort to have the penalty reduced, but was unsuccessful in convincing the panel that the blow was negligible. The panel upheld the original finding of the Match Review Panel, leaving Selwood with the full load of 93.75 demerits which will be held over toward his future record. 

Heath Black (FRE), striking Brisbane's Troy Selwood, assessed as intentional conduct (three points), medium impact (two points) and high contact (two points), equaling seven points, a Level Four offense, 325 demerits and a three game suspension. He accepted, reducing the penalty 25% to 243.75 demerits and a two game suspension.

Heath Black has also been fined $1200 for wrestling Brisbane's Troy Selwood. It is his first wrestling offense and he accepted, reducing the fine 25% to $900.

Troy Selwood (BRIS), wrestling Fremantle's Heath Black: fined $1200 for a first offense. He accepted, reducing the fine 25% to $900.

Ben Hudson (WB), striking St. Kilda's Leigh Montagna: assessed as intentional conduct (three points), low impact (one point) and body contact (one point), equaling five points, a Level Two offense, 125 demerits and a one game suspension. He has record and accepted, reducing the penalty 25% to 93.75 demerits and a reprimand.

Travis Cloke (COL), misconduct for making contact with his head to the face of Melbourne's Matthew Warnock: assessed as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point) and high contact (two points), equaling five points, a Level Two offense, 125 demerits and a one game suspension. Lynden Dunn (MELB), engaging in a melee: fined $1600 for a first offense. He accepted, reducing the fine 25% to $1200.

Paul Medhurst (COL), wrestling Melbourne's Clint Bartram: fined $1200 for a first offense. He accepted, reducing the fine 25% to $900.

Clint Bartram (MELB), wrestling Collingwood's Paul Medhurst: fined $1200 for a first offense. He accepted, reducing the fine 25% to $900.

The Match Review Panel dismissed the match day report against Carlton's Jordan Russell. It was the determination of the MRP that Russell, who had been reported for head high contact against Port Adelaide's Paul Stewart, was contesting the ball and contact was accidental as Russell slipped over at the time of the incident.
