In Round 11, GWS Coach Kevin Sheedy will coach against Carlton Mick Malthouse for the 47th time, a VFL/AFL record. They last coached against each other in Round 16, 2007 and Sheedy has 27 wins to Malthouse’s 19. The two have coached a combined total of 1339 games with Malthouse recording 391 wins and Sheedy 388. The Round 11 game will be the first time they have coached against each other at Etihad Stadium.

Most club games: Darren Glass (WCE) will play his 253rd game for West Coast in Round 11, putting him equal with Peter Matera in fifth place on the club's games list. Ahead of them are: Glen Jakovich (276 games, 1991-2004), Guy McKenna (267 games, 1988-2000), Drew Banfield (265 games, 1993-2006), and Dean Cox (260 games, 2001-current). Behind them are: Dean Kemp (243 games, 1990-2001), Andrew Embley (242 games, 1999-current), Ashley McIntosh (242 games, 1991-2003) and Ben Cousins (238 games, 1996-2007).

150 games as captain: Nick Riewoldt (StK) will captain the Saints for the 150th time since 2005, becoming the second man in club history after Danny Frawley (177 games as captain 1987-95) to reach this mark.

100 consecutive games: Andrew Swallow (NM) will play his 100th consecutive game since Round One, 2009. He will become only the second active player with a streak of 100 or more games, joining Richmond’s Brett Deledio (124 games since round 18, 2007).

Most Games Together as a Trio of Players: Adam Goodes, Jude Bolton and Ryan O’Keeffe (SYD) will play their 253rd game together as a trio of players since they first appeared together in Round Eight, 2000. According to the records of AFL historian Col Hutchison, this will equal the mark of Western Bulldogs’ trio Brad Johnson, Rohan Smith and Scott West. The leading trios of players are Brad Johnson, Rohan Smith and Scott West (253 games for Western Bulldogs R22 1994-SF 2006).
